A Week Without Julie - Almost...to...the...end

"So," you ask, "Is Julie the only one who ever writes on this blog? Surely, Aaron doesn't have the time to do an update."

Well, he does. We did not do much outside of our normal busy routine and still had fun. I enjoyed Sunday home with Natalie for Columbus Day. The house was so quiet and we played Little People and watched "Blues Clues."

The rest of the week was normal including a school board meeting and a 5:30 PM call from work that "something here needs your attention and no one else can do it." So a special thanks to Franka for extra babysitting this week. She'll be rewarded the next every-other-Thursday payday.

We kept in contact with Julie every day via Gmail chat (it's so easy) and one way Skype - Julie watched us via Skype but did not have a camera so would chat back at us in Gmail :). Lugging the old laptop definately was worth it even if it does take it forever to turn on.

She had a great time in Vienna. Her FaceBook account will have friends from even more international places soon. I'm sure she'll write all about it.

We can't wait until she gets back tonight. It turns out it will be after bedtime so the kids will beg me to stay up and I'll cave since they are so excited to see mom and I was there a few times coming home after bedtime and just dying to see everyone.

Here is the Eenigenburg family Christmas White Elephant gift coat on our roof. This coat is packaged each year for the name exchange and opened by an unsuspecting recipient. It travels along with a photobook of all its adventures.

Natalie just LOVES oranges. She chews them all the way down to the rind and then would throw it on the floor. I started to put the garbage can next to her and she'll throw them in there when she's done instead.
