There is an American here in Nouakchott who has organized a kids' baseball league, and we are so grateful to him. There are 3 teams, and they have regular practices and games - they even have jerseys! 4 guys from the embassy volunteered to coach and help out. Nick is so excited about it, and has proven to be one of the best kids out there, which has given him a real confidence boost. The "field" is a little rough, but the kids don't mind. Play ball!!
